A complete HPA setup has six things in it: a rifle built for HPA, an air tank, a regulator to step the tank pressure down to working pressure, a line connecting the regulator to the rifle, the engine inside the rifle, and the BBs. Get any one of these wrong and the rest of the system suffers — under-spec the regulator and you'll starve the engine; over-spec the tank and you've added unnecessary weight; pick the wrong line length and the rifle won't sit right on your rig.
