Tactical Gear

Everything you wear, carry, or strap on for game day. Vests, rigs, belts, pouches, holsters, helmets, eye and face protection, gloves, slings — the gear that turns up to every game whether the rifle changes or not.

Airsoft tactical gear is the kit that goes on your body rather than on the rifle. It's the slowest-rotating part of most players' loadouts — once you've got a vest, a belt, the right pouches, and a holster that fits your pistol, that setup typically lasts five to ten years. Which is why getting it right the first time matters: a poorly-fitting plate carrier or wrong-sized chest rig is uncomfortable for hundreds of game hours before you give up and replace it.

Three main carry-system families cover most players. Plate carriers are the heavy load-out — full-coverage vest with MOLLE webbing across the front, back, and sides for pouches and accessories. Chest rigs are the lighter alternative — MOLLE-laden chest panel with a harness, no plate housing, faster to put on and take off. Belt setups are the minimalist option — battle belts with magazine and gear pouches, no vest, popular for speedsoft and warm-weather play. Pick the platform based on how much gear you need to carry and how mobile you need to be.

The gear ecosystem also covers protection (eye protection is non-negotiable, face protection covers lower-face safety), carry accessories (pouches, dump pouches, holsters, backpacks), clothing (casual clothing, caps and headwear, gloves), and the small parts (slings, patches, targets). For the rifles and pistols this gear supports, see airsoft rifles and pistols.

💡 Titan Forge tip: If you're putting together a first loadout, start with eye protection first (always non-negotiable), then a belt setup before a plate carrier. Belts are cheaper, faster to learn, and work for 80% of UK skirmish play. Move to a chest rig or plate carrier when you genuinely need more capacity — not before. Loadouts that grow with playstyle work better than loadouts bought all-at-once.
